Working across the business, Liam is responsible for the operational coordination of cases, ensuring that instructions are managed efficiently from initial enquiry through to completion. This includes overseeing case logistics, coordinating our network of agents and investigators in the UK and internationally, and ensuring that reporting and client communications are delivered to the standards expected by our clients.

Liam works closely with both clients and our operational teams to understand the requirements of each instruction and ensure the right resources and approach are deployed. His role gives him oversight of the practical delivery of complex, multi-stage and multi-jurisdictional matters, helping to maintain clear communication and effective case management throughout.

Alongside his operational responsibilities, Liam oversees key areas of compliance and quality management across ESA Risk. Liam is responsible for managing the frameworks, policies and processes that support these standards, including those associated with ESA Risk’s Working across the business, Liam is responsible for the operational coordination of cases, ensuring that instructions are managed efficiently from initial enquiry through to completion. He also plays a key role in the development of ESA Risk’s internal systems and technology, identifying and implementing tools that improve case management, operational efficiency, reporting and service delivery.

Having joined ESA Risk when the brand was in its infancy, Liam has played an important role in the company’s growth and development. His background in client services, marketing and business development gives him a broad understanding of both the operational requirements of the business and the needs of its clients.

Before joining ESA Risk, Liam held senior marketing roles in the education sector, based in and around the City of London. Earlier in his career, he also worked for KPMG.

Liam holds a BA (Hons) in History and an MA in Early Modern History, both from the University of Sheffield. He also completed a Diploma in Marketing Communications at the London School of Marketing.

Based in our Manchester office, Liam regularly travels across the UK for client meetings and industry events. He also plays an active role in The 500 Club, our networking series for professionals across the legal, insolvency, finance, property and wider business communities.

Liam is a member of the Association of British Investigators (ABI), World Association of Detectives (WAD), and R3, the Association of Business Recovery Professionals.
