Mario Ovsenjak, Hotel & Leisure Management Consultant, raised more than £2,000 for Cancer Research UK when he made his debut appearance in the boxing ring just before Christmas last year. After 3 rounds, he lost on points, unfortunately. However, Mario has taken the opportunity to add a win next to his name and to raise more money for charity – he’ll be returning to the ring on Sunday 20^th March in aid of Cancer Research UK, once again.

Ahead of his first fight, Mario remarked that he was “far more likely to be seen with a glass of sherry than fighting”. Clearly, that’s starting to change. As before, Mario has entered a gruelling 8-week training and nutrition regime to ensure he’s fighting fit by the time of the event at Bowlers Exhibition Centre in Manchester.
